About myself

I was born in Helsingborg, Sweden, 1948. Where I grew up and came into contact with the sea when I was a kid, we had a small motor boat. When I was 14 years, I sailed for the first time on an small cruiser. I was a little seasick, then in the smell of very unhealthy below deck, but I thought it was great that simply snap forward by nature's power and to be close to nature.

When I was 30 years, I had created economic conditions in order to buy me my first sailboat, which became a Beason 31. It was ordered in pieces and I have to mount everything After 800 hours (a 14 summer where I had the -16 hours of working time), it was time for the test sailing. It was my first sailing after teenage time, however, in the meantime I had taken a skipper course.  The test sailing was excellent, and my family sailed in 6 to 7 years in the summer around on the West Coast, up to Norway and down to Germany. After this time my family was tired of sailing and the boat was sold, the work took more and more of my free time.

I have all my life work in the IT industry and 1991 I started a IT company. During this time I hired sail yacht in the Stockholm Archipelago, Greece Archipelago, Caribbean and Malaysia.

I have 4 wonderful children, Daniel and Mikael in my first marriage and Alexandra and Karolina in my second marriage. During the last year I have been grandfather to a boy and a girl.

When I filled 50, I had decided to sail around the world when I retire me.

2002 I bought a used Najad 440 which I sailed in substantially in the Baltic Sea. 2007. I ordered Amel 54, in boat exhibition in Düsseldorf

November (2009). I received my Amelit in June 2009 and are now looking forward to sail around the world, and learn more about sailing, discover new sites and meet new people.

My eldest son has after been active 13 years in the company, taken over CEO role so I can safely exit on the high seas.
